RingCentral, Inc. is an American corporation headquartered in Belmont, California. It offers software-as-a-service solutions to help businesses communicate and collaborate in North America. Also, the company has a Message Video Phone platform that serves as a base for business cloud communications and contact center solutions.
The company was formed in 1999 after its co-founders, Vlad Shmunis and Vlad Vendrow, left RingZero Systems. This company focused on small business communications on Microsoft Windows. After Motorola acquired RingZero Systems, the focus shifted to mobile platforms. In 2011, Cisco and Silicon Valley Bank became some of the company’s investors. By that time, the firm had a total of $45 million in capital investment.
RingCentral went public in September 2013 and held a follow-on offering in March 2014. Today, the company is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker RNG.
In May 2019, the company acquired the naming rights to the Oakland Coliseum. Therefore, it was renamed the RingCentral Coliseum. Today, it’s home to the Oakland Athletics.

RingCentral is a component of the Russell 1000, Russell 3000, and NYSE Composite indices. As it’s involved in a few stock indices, it’s a positive sign of the company’s reliability. If it’s excluded from any of them, it will negatively affect its market share and the stock price.
RingCentral’s share price is low. However, it’s highly volatile. Moreover, the company doesn’t pay dividends. Therefore, CFD trading is a better option for dealing with RNG stocks. When trading, you can use the high degree of volatility to open trades within a day. Moreover, the stock rate doesn’t matter much.
