What is Two-Factor Authentication?
Two-factor authentication is an additional security measure that requires not only your password but also a special code generated on your mobile device. This significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access to your profile, even if your password has been compromised.
How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication:
Step 1:
Install the Google Authenticator app on your mobile phone if you haven’t already. The app is available for download from the App Store (for iOS) and Google Play (for Android).
Step 2:
Go to the "Security" section of your client profile using this link and click the "Enable" button next to the Google Authentication feature.
Step 3:
In the window that opens, you will see a QR code. Scan it using the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device or enter the setup key manually.
Step 4:
Enter the generated verification code from Google Authenticator into the corresponding field in your client profile.
These simple steps will help protect your account and personal information from unauthorized access.
What Changes When Logging into Your Profile After Enabling Google Authenticator?
After enabling two-factor authentication, accessing your profile will become more secure.
Once you enter your password, you will be prompted to enter a unique, one-time code generated by the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device. This code updates every 30 seconds, providing a reliable means of protection.
